Q: What is the main point for Alpha Release?
A: The check the functionality such as Warmbug AI, player control, UI usability etc.

Q: What feedback did pre-alpha tester provide?
A: The game is too hard. Recommend biologist to select the mortal difficulty.

Q: What is the recommended resolution?
A: 1024*768 is recommended.

Q: About the bullets...
A: For testing reasons, the bullets is given at the beginning. Ava will not receive any extra bullet during the game, be aware.

Q: About player control...
A: Press A to reload, combine down arrow key with left or right arrow key to crawl through the enemy.

Q: How many Hentai content for this version?
A: The alpha test is for game structure and functionality testing. Although there are 4 Hentai models is already build, only one warmbug shows up in the current A: version. Once the current design of warmbugs AI is validated without error, Dr. Linch will then add them to the game.

Q: About the checkpoint...
A: Checkpoint is not included in this version.

Q: About the ending...
A: There is no ending for the Alpha test so you can choose any difficulty you want.

Q: Why I need an account?
Q: Because Dr. Linch wants to send you the next release to you directly.

Q: About the password...
A: The download platform is using Microsoft Identity Framework, the password is hashed before storing into the database.

Q: I don't want to apply an account!
A: Wait for the next release then. I might take authentication away in the next version.

Q: What extra data will be collected?
A: Performance data will be collected only once at the final level.
They are:
1. Attack Log: Whenever you attacked an enemy and hit them, the status of the character will be collected.
2. Enter Log: Whenever you enter a level, the status will be recorded.
3. Elimination Log: Whenever you killed an enemy, the data will be collected.

If you don't what your performance data to be collected, simply just don't enter the final room...

Q: Where should I download the game?
A: You will get the download link in Alpha release, pre-alpha is for the focus group to find out any critical error of the project.

Q: When is Alpha release?
A: After pre-alpha testers report no critical error in the current version. From an estimate, it will be somewhere after 24 hours to 48 hours.

Q: How many Hentai content for this version?
A: The alpha test is for game structure and functionality testing. Although there are 4 Hentai models is already build, only one warmbug shows up in the current version. Once the current design of warmbugs AI is validated without error, Dr. Linch will then add them to the game.

Quick announcement of what will happen:

1. If there is no accident (which I believe there won't be one, but who knows?), the release will be in a week.

2. Current content is enough for alpha release (in terms of functionality), however, Dr. Linch wants to share more stuff of the game, for instance, add one more warmbug.

3. Before the formal alpha release, there will be a pre-alpha release focusing on a small group of people to test the distribution condition of the game and searching critical errors in the code. Only if a critical error is found, otherwise the alpha test won't postpone.

Nothing much to say this time...

My new code lines are fighting against my old ones, need to fix one of them or maybe discard them both.

WTF...



Here is my development sheet, green part means where the work has done.

(This table changes dramatically, just see this as a reference.)

It will impossible to publish the release right now, but I will keep doing my best.

Haven't sleep before 3 a.m. for a while... (X_x)



Before the official release, I will start to find some inside biologists to test the functional part first.

By the time you biologist see a video, that means the releasing date is coming soon.

Sweet Dream!

Dr. Linch was worried that he might leave the project unfinished before the deadline, so he cannot sleep well last night.

He forced himself to sleep because he knows sleeping late will only slow down the development speed.

The funny thing is, since when, sleeping on time has become so difficult than staying up late.

Dr. Linch hope you guys all have a good sleep in the night.


Although Dr. Linch trying to make up the release before mid-October, since the system becomes more and more complex, the actual release data is hard to estimate.

Dr. Linch will try everything he got to make things happen.

The release date will surely be somewhere before November, otherwise, HE WILL BE DEAD! SO DEAD!

Because he already put himself in for something from which there was no turning back.


Recently something makes him very proud of is that he completely fixed the control problem from bug reports from the last release.

The other good news is, Ava now knows how to cross the enemies by crawling.

Strategy of Engaging a Warmbug

Research from The Second Fleet of Empire

The combat laboratory has launched a series of programs against Warmbug to improve the combat ability of The Empire infantry.

It is never over impulsive to launch an attack against the Eternal Fleet Association by spreading the alien species. The prerequisite of this warframe is to acquire a better knowledge than the enemies so we might have a better opportunity to win in an alien involved combat field.

From the testing data collected by 80 groups of combat slaves, we reach several valuable conclusions which suggest the Toxic to put into practice immediately.

A. With standard Empire Warsuit, we found that Warmbugs take damages varied by different chemical composition. Certain Warmbugs injured badly by corrosive weapons, others are vulnerable to electrical weapons. However, compare to tradition weapons, the Red Core Technology is still much more deadly.

B. We observed from the testing battlefield that some female slaves survived for a little longer than average. What they did was to give up resistance and allow Warmbugs to assaults them whatever they want. However, some female slaves try to act the same way breaks down earlier.

Thus, we infer that when female find it hard to get rid of an attacking Warmbug, give up resistance and try to satisfy those bugs might extend the survivor rate to the utmost.

C. After three hours, the survivor rate of combat slaves is 15%. We executed the male slaves and translate the female slaves into Extract Cattle.

So here is what's going on: from now on, there will be no games, chatting, facebook or youtube shit in Dr. Linch's life.

He's not even going to touch himself before there is any improvement.

Before the middle of October, the first open release will make no matter what.

Do you speak English?


The image on top is one draft from the very beginning. Ava's equipment are inspired by S-belt, an equipment that I should put on when standing guard during the time serving the military.

A decision just been made that English has become the main language of the project, so congratulations to English biologists!

And for Chinese biologists... No worries, it won't take much time to modify.

For Japanese biologists... well, can the Great Empire find someone who can help with the translation? I do want to share this projects to you guys...

Today let's talk about how the project has formed.

Believe or not, this was previous planned to be a 3D game.

Although my major is not Game design,I know some 3D stuff. When trying to start the project, I found 3ds Max is fucking expensive(cost around 3000 USD) so I have no other option but to gave up. This was a long gap, it stopped the project for more than one years.

Later on, I found Unity is free game engine and support 2D project, so the project then moved on and identified as a 2D project.

The draft of this project is an RPG one, but after playing Skyrim, this idea became fucking stupid. As an alternative, I was inspired by Inferno and was obsessed by this lady from the Lust... so the project has become a Hell game or something like that.



But I'm not a fan of religion and get tired soon about mysticism... I like stuff that is more reasonable, for instance, relative-theories? I'm a fan of strategy games,  so maybe Sci-fiction is an easy way out.

Honestly, I'm not that into of Sci-fiction, because are not that reasonable as expected. So the way this project won't be a traditional Sci-fiction, but a more like a future military story.

The main idea of this project is "let the player feel the fun in a dispossessed fight". Later on, Victoria is add in the project because when thinking of expanding the project, I need more characters, but not guys on the good side. (Thus you can infer that I hate blood characters in comics...)

Finally, comes to the development report! The story has stopped for a while because it's all in my head and it's just a matter of time for outputting it. For the next release, we don't need to make the plot all done so it's time to focus on the art design.

Dr. Linch makes things happen.


At the beginning of the article, I want to thank you all Biologists for supporting this development blog.

Well, no worries, a start like this is not a shutdown notification. The project goes fine.

So far, biologists from around the world gave their attention and suggest value advice to me, and it helps a lot.

The arrogant author who considers himself almighty nowhere gives his hearty thanks to you smart biologists.


I'm working hard on the project so I spend less time maintain this blog

However, I knew that you biologists are there watching every move of this blog.

It is obvious that biologists will feel upset every time step by and saw no updates.

Thus, I decided to post one new post every two weeks no matter what. I'll just make the article shorter so I can still focus on development.


For the progress of the project: background was done, fleet background settings still adjusting, characters are still expanding, and "Operation Rebirth", the event that brings Ava to this mess, details are clear.

Hopefully, we can start talking about some background next time.


Some old article will be modified. I'll start to call myself "I" instead of "the author" to reduce confusion. I'll share some interesting things in future articles, hope that we can establish a good connection.

Finally, I'm thinking a good ending sentence for every article to bring some good luck to the project...

Working on the story

Apologized for the late post, the author was away for a while and was busy for something.

Most of all, he read books about improving the story, and it's very helpful.

Although there isn't much tangible output, but the story in his mind has become more excited, the author guesses this is something good.

Now Linch is back. There will be some great output recently. We'll see.

Persistent


Pretty much every existing art materials got modified.

Days ago with an update of one tool, consequently components in the project break down one by one.

In other words, all of the works in the project were gone - everything went back to zero. What make things worse was, Windows 10 updated itself without any notification...

Well, although it sounds terrible, the author didn't get frustrated at all and fortunately after spending several hours, he got everything fixed. Congratulations!


Since the project has already become something so different from the original plan, the release on May is now impossible

At the very beginning, the author just wants to make a simple game, a game without complex background and has no such things like inventory system.

However, the word has given. Thus, a closed-release will kick-off soon.

For people who really cares about the current progress of the game, or for people who would like to provide suggestions for future development, you are welcome to joining this closed-release. However, the author does not recommend normal players to join this release, since it is an unfinished stuff, it won't be fun at all. It will be a waste of time if you expect to play a game.

So - for those who want to join the closed-release, please send the author a message on Facebook.

By the way, this is the author's Twitter. It is new, it is empty, but who knows what will it be like in the future?

As a reminder, this closed-release is a one to one relationship. The author will establish the connection with you directly. Thus, there is a limitation on the number of participants.

This will be intersting


The author can't believe that user interface is such time consuming... thank god when the time interfaces smoothly slide in, he knows the time is worth it.

What have been done now: Map and Flags planning, Map data and entity setting, UI structure, map generator, level switch testing, player save structure...

What is remaining: inventory consuming system, audio settings, combat control, warmbug AI, intelligence system, data engineering, detailed background art, event system, squat down collider, intensity of warbugs, screen transition, abnormal status, naked mode, H-scene switching... there will be more tasks coming up as soon as the author goes to the details.

With the improving programming skills, the author is looking for more for the game. The author believes that after an epic plot is written, the game will be interesting enough even without the H part.

By the way, Ava will adjust her hair style later.

Thank you for coming to the Space Biology Conference.


Recently the author is far way behind schedule, it might be an after-effect after trying to accelerate the process. Or maybe it is the self-doubt causing during the development make the schedule stacked.

Someone said: "The girl is not attractive enough!" some said:"The character is walking in a wrong way."

The author himself sometimes may think: "Yeah, the biologists are right. Maybe I should do this and that..."

However, after a careful consideration, the author decide to leave some of the advice, even it makes sense a lot.

It is hard to put into words but... sometimes it is the flaw that completes the beauty.

Thank you for giving various advice to the author. I apologized for my insist.

Hoping we can reach the Hentai part ASAP.

Progamming has started.


"Should I just use some free software to complete this game?"

Whenever the author is choosing tools, this kind of thoughts will come out in mind.

However, when considering how players might feel during their gaming experience, the author swipe his debit card and in a one second for an advanced tool.

Learning how to simplify the workflow is important, but what more important is never compromise on the game quality.

Whenever thinking of the players, the author knows he needs to work harder.

Currently, the art schedule is fall behind - maybe because previous development went too smoothly so an unrealistic schedule has made. Fortunately, the programming part is on track.

Influenced by the Management of Defense Acquisition, the author goes back to the project requirement and make sure every requirement is on the right track - since that is what the course emphasized.

The development schedule is currently going well.

Recently the author slept on 6 a.m. in the morning... because of the development of cause.

Although he is super exciting for bring the result to the players, he needs to take care of this health anyway - this will do good to the project too, in a long term.

A rough estimate: the first demonstration will release before May.

Thanks to the draft, the author found Ava's original feature. She was a beauty but the author forgot how she looked like.

The development is going smoothly. The author didn't expect the overall process is this successful.

Sadly, the poll still maintains one digit. But anyway, The author would like to design the weapon as a handgun, which is a result according to the poll.

Tell me if you like our adorable character. It's okay for the author keep talking to himself before the demonstration release... but he really hope there is a reply before that. :P

That's it. The author will focus on the artwork output from now.

I am (not) alone


The Tits Sucker!

Hi, Biologists. What's up?

The attaching image is something done before the project has started.

The author looked into the drafts and designs done at the very beginning and found that they are pretty different from the current one.

Some changes occur because it had referred many collected information and had many dedicated improvements. For example, the game mode, the way that players are expected to act in the game, is something the designer very proud with. It is established in a unique way and the author really wants to show you guys about it.

Some changes, on the other hand, are concessions -- like Ava's tits. Yeah, it was not that big at first, and overall her body shape is slim and short. The author was looking for a harmonious and beautiful body, but when considering the preference of most players, her tits are enhanced without preconditions.

For some part, it maintains what it was. Like, Ava herself, has not changed. It is simple to make her as a fuck toy, we all know what a fuck toy looks like (I assume that), but I insist to make her someone who is not that loveable -- In order to make her different, I gave her a hair style which is less popular. Well, although she sacrificed her tits... but anyway, tits with lovely shape are the big the better, so overall it is good for her, right?

And something weird is -- The author found that he forgot some of the designs. This might be the reason why he look back the beginning drafts and proposal, to remember the original thoughts and meanwhile get inspired.

Today the fighting artwork has initiated and goes smoothly. I guarantee you that Ava is more sex than she was in the previous post, you'll love it.

By the way, the poll about the weapon seems not going well. The weapon artwork is about to start and meanwhile the author is very afraid that he is talking to himself, so if it is possible, go share your view! The author need opinions from biologists! For those who already vote, thank you so much! You guys are perfect!

Suit Done!


The combat suit is done. How do you guys feel?

Several ways are tested for putting on the color. Since I'm not an art major, hopefully, the result can satisfy you biologists.

Many details are taken away from the previous design. It is a pity that the white armor is gone - I tended to bring up so innocent and inviolable impression, but it doesn't look nice.

Blue and red are used for this suit and with these color mixed, purple as became the main theme color. Hope this combination can bring your attention.

By the way, the red web part is the Red Core technology - the driving force of this combat suit. This is something from the aliens - those kind aliens, I mean, not from that horny side... well, we'll get to the plot next time.

So that's almost it... hmm, before you leave, here is a simple poll that I try to drag from the widget. It is about the primary weapon of the main character. Currently, the primary weapon for the girl is a handgun. I'm thinking do you guys prefer a rifle?

Making love is an importance element of this game, but making wars is, too. Please leave your opinion so I can on one hand have a better idea of the weapon, on the other hand, I'll know it is not boots that visiting this blog.

Which one? Common or Innovative?


You guys might like Type B a little bit, but it is just too common. Personally, I hope there are some audiences looking for Type A, but not sure are they as much as audiences of Type B.

To sum up, the suit is still pending.

Let's just hope the war suit looks good on our girl. Several design has tested, and it is still pending. Although the suit will tear off by those ugly creatures and the tits will come out eventually, but the remaining part is still important...

I believe a girl dress partially is always better than a fully naked girl, don't you think so?
